Eli McCarthy

Eli McCarthy teaches at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., in theology and religious studies, as well as justice and peace studies. He also serves as a Just Peace Fellow for the Franciscan Action Network and on the steering committee of the Catholic Nonviolence Initiative, a project of Pax Christi International. He is the Director of Programs for the D.C. Peace Team, which offers training in nonviolent communication, restorative justice, bystander intervention and deploys unarmed civilian protection units.
