Mary Graw Leary

Mary Graw Leary is a professor of law at the Catholic University of America's Columbus School of Law. A former federal prosecutor, Leary's scholarship examines the intersection of criminal law, technology and contemporary victimization. She focuses on the exploitation and abuse of women, children and the marginalized, and is the author of "The Failed Experiment of §230 of the Communications Decency Act:  How It Facilitates Exploitation and How It Must Be Reformed," Villanova Law Review, Vol. 70, No. 1(2025). She also is the director of the Bakhita Initiative for the Study and Disruption of Modern Slavery.
